Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive

The impressive off-road capability of the Forester Wilderness starts with its dependable Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It features a balanced design for better stability on a wide range of surfaces and optimizes power distribution between the wheels to deliver maximum traction on challenging trails or in slippery weather conditions. Working together with the rest of the all-terrain upgrades on the Forester Wilderness, you can count on the confident grip of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive to take your adventures deeper into the backcountry than ever before.

Count on It Anywhere

With You for Trail After Trail

You and your Forester Wilderness are going to see a lot of backcountry together – 97% of Forester models sold in the last 10 years are still on the road today[4]. That’s more than the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CRV[4]. That kind of trusted reliability is why Subaru vehicles hold their value better than any other brand, according to ALG[5].

A Vehicle You Can Trust

You’ll love your Forester Wilderness because of the places it can take you, but you’ll trust it because it’s a Subaru. Kelley Blue Book has named Subaru as its Most Trusted Brand seven years running[6] as well as a four-time Best Overall Brand winner.
